After a great deal of research, I purchased a NovaForm Gel Memory Foam mattress (it is currently “unfolding” as I speak). During my research one reviewer advised the reader not to use a mattress cover. His contention was/is that a cover limits the initial recovery, but also doesn’t allow the memory foam to fully sense the user’s body type requirements. I am reluctant to use this mattress without a cover, on the other hand, I want to get the most (I.e. comfort, support et al) from this product. Thank you in advance for your input on this.
Read the manufacturer’s warranty card that comes with the mattress. You will see the “Stain” clause, where it states that a stain on the mattress, of any type, will void the warranty.
A mattress protector is a must for every mattress.
Frankly, all that talk of the mattress sensing your body type requirements, is pure nonsense.
