I am a side sleeper with major low back problems (really in my SI Joint). I tried a Select Comfort and after over a year I have decided it does not support me enough. So, my search starts for a conventional mattress. I have tried some and feel I need a pocketed coil with a plush top. I am worried that a plush will break in/fail as I have read in the reviews. I need something that will support my well, but will take up my hips as a side sleeper. I have tried the W Hotel, Sterns & Foster, Simmons and Sealy. I am thinking about a plush w latex as I amworried about heat. Thoughts?
The latex topper will give you the comfort you want without heating up.
All your thinking is fine, except the choice of mattress comfort level.
Let the topper do its job. Order that in the “Soft”.
The mattress needs to do the job of supporting you.
The Stearns & Foster Heidi in luxury firm should be your base support.
The softer padding in the luxury plush will still fail, even with the topper.
